Oxfordshire Church Weddings

Oxfordshire is home to some of the most visually breath-taking churches in the country. Churches are beautiful, spiritual buildings by themselves, but we think that there is something extra special about the union of man and wife amongst tall spires and stain glass windows. We never tire of inventing unique and innovative ways to capture the essence of each and every one of our wonderful wedding couples, and Oxfordshire Church weddings are endless sources of inspiration for us.
St. Peter & St Paul in Kings Sutton is surrounded by Oxfordshire’s sweeping hills and deep valleys. The church’s tall spire looks so grand and elegant in wedding photos; the perfect background for a fairy-tale, happy ever after wedding day. The inside is just as spectacular, with stunning stain glass windows and interior arches which stand out wonderfully against crisp, white wedding gowns and long flowing bridesmaid dresses.

St. Mary’s in Banbury, although right town centre, is completely surrounded by tall, green trees and expertly manicured lawns. Your photographs will look as though you are in the middle of the countryside, yet you are located right next to numerous hotels that are ideal locations for wedding receptions. The interior of St. Mary’s is second to none. The impressive stain glass scene at the altar looks phenomenal in photographs and is a spiritual backdrop for a spiritual moment that you will never forget.

Another of our favourite wedding churches in Oxfordshire is The Church of St. John the Baptist, Bodicote. This church is wonderful to photograph and its location naturally lends itself to wedding photography. Bodicote Church is a perfectly romantic setting located just a few miles outside of Banbury. The stunning architecture of the church building is complimented beautifully by the boundless rolling hills in the distance stretching as far as the eye can see,
